Muslim, Masajid 261The duas narrated for each day of the week are gathered in this section: the duas for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday are given on separate pages with their Arabic text, transliteration and meaning.
These duas are handed down arranged by the days of the week in dua collections such as Majmu'at al-Ahzab. None of them is an obligation or a condition specific to that day; they are an arrangement for those who wish to greet the day with a particular dua.
Reciting the dua of a day does not prevent you from reciting other duas that day. No virtue or number that does not appear in the source has been added to these pages.

No. These duas are neither fard nor wajib; they are texts arranged by day in dua collections and recommended for recitation. No responsibility falls on someone who does not recite them. Whoever recites them has remembered Allah at the start of the day and presented their needs to Him.
The sources mostly recommend reciting it in the morning, in the first hours of the day. There is no binding time requirement; it can be recited at any convenient time during the day.
Friday is the day about which the most narrations exist; salawat, istighfar and dua are especially encouraged on it. For this reason, the dua for Friday is longer in most collections. The text for Friday is also given in this section together with its source.
