Muslim, Masajid 261Provision (rizq) is everything allotted to a person by Allah: the food they eat, the money they earn, their health and their peace of mind. This section gathers the duas recited for abundant provision, halal earnings, blessing (barakah), freedom from debt and protection from poverty.
In the Quran and sunnah, provision is always asked for together with taking the means. The principle is not to stop working and only make dua, but to keep the door open to Allah, ar-Razzaq (the Provider), while you work. That is why most of these duas ask with the condition “halal”: what is asked for is not simply a lot of wealth, but what is blessed and halal.
For each dua, the Arabic text with full vowel marks, the transliteration and the meaning are given, along with the source in which it appears.

There is no set time. It is recited when leaving for work in the morning, after the prayers and at times when income becomes tight. Friday and the pre-dawn hours (sahar) are among the preferred times.
Dua does not replace taking the means; it is added alongside it. The sources state that only Allah gives provision, while the servant is responsible for working and for knocking on the door through dua.
