Surah An-Nur, Verse 12

لَّوۡلَآ إِذۡ سَمِعۡتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتُ بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ خَيۡرࣰ ا وَقَالُواْ هَٰذَآ إِفۡكࣱ مُّبِينࣱ‏ ﴿١٢﴾

Lev la iz semı´tümuhü zannel mü´minine vel mü´minatü bi eğfüsihim hayrav ve kalu haza ifküm mübın

“Why did not the believers - men and women - when ye heard of the affair,- put the best construction on it in their own minds and say, "This (charge) is an obvious lie”
