Meaning
O Allah, You are the Possessor of grace and favour, while I am full of faults; so pardon me. O my Lord, my expectation of You is good; so make this good expectation of mine come true. O Allah, do not punish me; I confess what has come from me. People think there is good in me, yet if You do not pardon me, I am the worst of all creation. O Allah, Your sinful servant has come to You confessing his sins and has called upon You. If You forgive, You are the One worthy of it; and if You turn me away, who but You will show mercy? O Allah, I have repented sincerely of all sins, hoping for salvation. On the Day when everyone is seized by the forelock and brought forth, help me by Your grace, O You who never withhold help from those who seek it.
