Camiden Çıkarken Okunacak Dua Okunuşu ve Anlamı

Explanation

Dua Text

Transliteration

Bismillahi was-salamu ‘ala Rasulillah. Allahumma inni as’aluka min fadlika. Allahumma’simni minash-shaytanir-rajim.

Meaning

In the name of Allah; and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty. O Allah, protect me from the accursed Shaytan.

What Is Asked in This Dua

This dua consists of three parts. The servant first leaves the mosque in the name of Allah and sends peace upon the Messenger of Allah; even as he leaves the place of worship, he moves with the basmala and salat upon the Prophet. Then he asks Allah for His bounty; in return for the worship performed in the mosque, he asks for a share of Allah’s generosity, blessing and grace. He wishes to step into life outside, into his livelihood and his affairs, with Allah’s favor.

In the last part, the servant asks to be protected from the accursed Shaytan. He seeks refuge in Allah so that the peace gained in the mosque and the spiritual benefit of worship are not lost outside. The book states that this dua is a means of seeking refuge so that the worship performed is not lost. In this way, the servant asks Allah to protect the spiritual gain he has earned in the mosque.

When and How to Recite

This dua is recited when leaving the mosque, as you step out of the door. No specific number of recitations is mentioned in the source; reciting it once is enough. The book says that the virtue of persisting in these duas recited when entering the mosque, inside it and when leaving it is beyond measure.

Since one usually leaves the mosque in a state of wudu, wudu is already present; it is enough to recite it quietly while reflecting on its meaning. Those who find the Arabic difficult can also make the dua with its meaning in their own language. It is recommended to make it a habit every time you leave the mosque.

Virtue

It is said that the virtue of persisting in these duas when entering the mosque, inside the mosque and when leaving it is beyond measure.
