Surah Al-Ma'un

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿١﴾

E raeytellezi yükezzibü bid din

“Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)”

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ ﴿٢﴾

Fe zalikellezi yedu´ul yetim

“Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness)”

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ ﴿٣﴾

Ve la yehuddu ala taamil miskin

“And encourages not the feeding of the indigent”

فَوَيۡلࣱ لِّلۡمُصَلِّينَ ﴿٤﴾

Fe veylün lil müsallin

“So woe to the worshippers”

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ ﴿٥﴾

Ellezine hüm an salatihim sahun

“Who are neglectful of their prayers”

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ ﴿٦﴾

Ellezine hüm yüraun

“Those who (want but) to be seen (of men)”

وَيَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ ﴿٧﴾

Ve yemneunel maun

“But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs”
