Surah Al-Insan

هَلۡ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ حِينࣱ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهۡرِ لَمۡ يَكُن شَيۡـࣰٔ ا مَّذۡكُورًا ﴿١﴾

Hel eta alel´insani hıynüm mined dehri lem yekun şey´en mezkura

“Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned”

إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ أَمۡشَاجࣲ نَّبۡتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ سَمِيعَۢا بَصِيرًا ﴿٢﴾

İnna halaknel´insane min nutfetin emşacin nebteliyhi fece´alnahu semiy´an basıyra

“Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight”

إِنَّا هَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرࣰ ا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا ﴿٣﴾

İnna hedeynahussebiyle imma şakirav ve imma kefura

“We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will)”

إِنَّآ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَاْ وَأَغۡلَٰلࣰ ا وَسَعِيرًا ﴿٤﴾

İnna a´tedna lilkafiriyne selasile ve ağlalen ve se´ıyren

“For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire”

إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ يَشۡرَبُونَ مِن كَأۡسࣲ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا ﴿٥﴾

İnnel´ebrare yeşrebune min ke´sin kane mizacuha kafura

“As to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur”

عَيۡنࣰ ا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفۡجِيرࣰ ا ﴿٦﴾

Aynen yeşrebu biha ´ıbadullahi yufecciruneha tefciyra

“A Fountain where the Devotees of God do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance”

يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذۡرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوۡمࣰ ا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسۡتَطِيرࣰ ا ﴿٧﴾

Yufune binnezri ve yehafune yevmen kane şerruhu mustetıyren

“They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide”

وَيُطۡعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسۡكِينࣰ ا وَيَتِيمࣰ ا وَأَسِيرًا ﴿٨﴾

Ve yut´ımunetta´ame ´ala hubbihi miskiynen ve yetiymen ve esiyren

“And they feed, for the love of God, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive”

إِنَّمَا نُطۡعِمُكُمۡ لِوَجۡهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمۡ جَزَآءࣰ وَلَا شُكُورًا ﴿٩﴾

İnnema nut´ımukum livechillahi la nuriydu minkum cezaen ve la şukuren

“(Saying),"We feed you for the sake of God alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks”

إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوۡمًا عَبُوسࣰ ا قَمۡطَرِيرࣰ ا ﴿١٠﴾

İnna nehafu min rabbina yevmen ´abusen kamtariyren

“We only fear a Day of distressful Wrath from the side of our Lord”

فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمۡ نَضۡرَةࣰ وَسُرُورࣰ ا ﴿١١﴾

Fevekahumullahu şerre zalikelyevmi ve lakkahum nadreten ve sururen

“But God will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy”

وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُواْ جَنَّةࣰ وَحَرِيرࣰ ا ﴿١٢﴾

Ve cezahum bima saberu cenneten ve hariyren

“And because they were patient and constant, He will reward them with a Garden and (garments of) silk”

مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِۖ لَا يَرَوۡنَ فِيهَا شَمۡسࣰ ا وَلَا زَمۡهَرِيرࣰ ا ﴿١٣﴾

Muttekiiyne fiyha ´alel´eraiki la yerevne fiyha şemsen ve la zemheriyren

“Reclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun's (excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive cold”

وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيۡهِمۡ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتۡ قُطُوفُهَا تَذۡلِيلࣰ ا ﴿١٤﴾

Ve daniyeten ´aleyhim zılaluha ve zullilet kutufuha tezliylen

“And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility”

وَيُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِـَٔانِيَةࣲ مِّن فِضَّةࣲ وَأَكۡوَابࣲ كَانَتۡ قَوَارِيرَا۠ ﴿١٥﴾

Ve yutafu ´aleyhim bianiyetin min fıddatin ve ekvabin kanet kavariyle

“And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and goblets of crystal”

قَوَارِيرَاْ مِن فِضَّةࣲ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقۡدِيرࣰ ا ﴿١٦﴾

Kavariyle min fıddatin kadderuha takdiyren

“Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes)”

وَيُسۡقَوۡنَ فِيهَا كَأۡسࣰ ا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا ﴿١٧﴾

Ve yuskavne fiyha ke´sen kane mizacuha zencebiylen

“And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil”

عَيۡنࣰ ا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلۡسَبِيلࣰ ا ﴿١٨﴾

´Aynen fiyha tusemma selsebiylen

“A fountain there, called Salsabil”

۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَٰنࣱ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ حَسِبۡتَهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤࣰ ا مَّنثُورࣰ ا ﴿١٩﴾

Ve yetufu ´aleyhim vildanun muhalledune iza reeytehum hasibtehum lu´luen mensuren

“And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls”

وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيۡتَ نَعِيمࣰ ا وَمُلۡكࣰ ا كَبِيرًا ﴿٢٠﴾

Ve iza reeyte semme reeyte ne´ıymen ve mulken kebiyren

“And when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent”

عَٰلِيَهُمۡ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضۡرࣱ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقࣱۖ وَحُلُّوٓاْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةࣲ وَسَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ شَرَابࣰ ا طَهُورًا ﴿٢١﴾

´Aliyehum siyabu sundusin hudrun ve istebrakun ve hullu esavire min fıddatin ve sekahum rabbuhum şeraben tahuren

“Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy”

إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمۡ جَزَآءࣰ وَكَانَ سَعۡيُكُم مَّشۡكُورًا ﴿٢٢﴾

İnne haza kane lekum cezaen ve kane sa´yukum meşkuren

“Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised”

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ تَنزِيلࣰ ا ﴿٢٣﴾

İnna nahnu nezzelna ´aleykelkur´ane tenziylen

“It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages”

فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعۡ مِنۡهُمۡ ءَاثِمًا أَوۡ كَفُورࣰ ا ﴿٢٤﴾

Fasbir lihukmi rabbike ve la tutı´ minhum asimen ev kefuren

“Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them”

وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ بُكۡرَةࣰ وَأَصِيلࣰ ا ﴿٢٥﴾

Veskurisme rabbike bukreten ve asıylen

“And celebrate the name of thy Lord morning and evening”

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَٱسۡجُدۡ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحۡهُ لَيۡلࣰ ا طَوِيلًا ﴿٢٦﴾

Ve minelleyli fescud lehu ve sebbıhhu leylen taviylen

“And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through”

إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمۡ يَوۡمࣰ ا ثَقِيلࣰ ا ﴿٢٧﴾

İnne haulai yuhıbbunel´acilete ve yezerune veraehum yevmen sekıylen

“As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard”

نَّحۡنُ خَلَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَشَدَدۡنَآ أَسۡرَهُمۡۖ وَإِذَا شِئۡنَا بَدَّلۡنَآ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ تَبۡدِيلًا ﴿٢٨﴾

Nahnu halaknahum ve şededna esrehum ve iza şi´na beddelna emsalehum tebdiylen

“It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change”

إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةࣱۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلࣰ ا ﴿٢٩﴾

İnne hazihi tezkiretun femen şaettehaze ila rabbihi sebiylen

“This is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord”

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمࣰ ا ﴿٣٠﴾

Ve ma teşaune illa en yeşaallahu innallahe kane ´aliymen hakiymen

“But ye will not, except as God wills; for God is full of Knowledge and Wisdom”

يُدۡخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِي رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ وَٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمَۢا ﴿٣١﴾

Yudhılu men yeşau fiv rahmetihi vezzalimiyne e´adde lehum ´azaben eliymen

“He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty”
