Meaning
Allah, there is no god but Him. He is the Ever-Living with an eternal life without beginning or end, the Everlasting. Through His essence and attributes of perfection, He governs and sustains all the affairs of creation. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. Whatever is in the heavens and on the earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows everything hidden and manifest that is before all beings and behind them. And they cannot grasp anything of His divine knowledge except what Allah wills. His Kursi (Footstool) encompasses and covers the heavens and the earth. Preserving and watching over the heavens and the earth is no difficulty or burden for Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.
