Surah Al-Humazah

وَيۡلࣱ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةࣲ لُّمَزَةٍ ﴿١﴾

Veylül li külli hümezetil lümezeh

“Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter”

ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالࣰ ا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ﴿٢﴾

Ellezıcemea malev ve addedeh

“Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by”

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ ﴿٣﴾

Yahsebü enne malehu ahledeh

“Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever”

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ ﴿٤﴾

Kella le yümbezenne fil hutameh

“By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces”

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ ﴿٥﴾

Ve ma edrake mel hutameh

“And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces”

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ ﴿٦﴾

Narullahil mukadeh

“(It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) God kindled (to a blaze)”

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ ﴿٧﴾

Elleti tettaliu alel ef´ideh

“The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts”

إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةࣱ‏ ﴿٨﴾

İnneha aleyhim mü´sadeh

“It shall be made into a vault over them”

فِي عَمَدࣲ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ ﴿٩﴾

Fi amedim mümeddedeh

“In columns outstretched”
