Surah Al-Fil

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ ﴿١﴾

E lem tera keyfe feale rabbüke bi ashabil fıl

“Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant”

أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلࣲ‏ ﴿٢﴾

E lem yec´al keydehüm fı tadlıl

“Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray”

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ ﴿٣﴾

Ve ersele aleyhim tayran ebabıl

“And He sent against them Flights of Birds”

تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةࣲ مِّن سِجِّيلࣲ‏ ﴿٤﴾

Termıhim bi hıcaratin min siccıl

“Striking them with stones of baked clay”

فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفࣲ مَّأۡكُولِۭ ﴿٥﴾

Fecealehüm keasfin me´kul

“Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up”
