Surah Al-Infitar

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡ ﴿١﴾

İzessemaunfetaret

“When the Sky is cleft asunder”

وَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡ ﴿٢﴾

Ve izelkevakibun teseret

“When the Stars are scattered”

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ ﴿٣﴾

Ve izelbiharu fucciret

“When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth”

وَإِذَا ٱلۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ ﴿٤﴾

Ve izelkuburu bu´siret

“And when the Graves are turned upside down”

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسࣱ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ ﴿٥﴾

´Alimet nefsun ma kaddemet ve ahharet

“(Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back”

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ ﴿٦﴾

Ya eyyuhel´insanu ma ğarreke birabbikelkeriymi

“O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent”

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ﴿٧﴾

Elleziy halekake fesevvake fe´adeleke

“Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias”

فِيٓ أَيِّ صُورَةࣲ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ ﴿٨﴾

Fiy eyyi suretin ma şae rekkebeke

“In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together”

كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿٩﴾

Kella bel tukezzibune biddiyni

“Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment”

وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَ ﴿١٠﴾

Ve inne ´aleykum lehafizıyne

“But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you”

كِرَامࣰ ا كَٰتِبِينَ ﴿١١﴾

Kiramen katibiyne

“Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds)”

يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ ﴿١٢﴾

Ya´lemune ma tef´alune

“They know (and understand) all that ye do”

إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمࣲ‏ ﴿١٣﴾

İnnel´ebrare lefiy na´ıymin

“As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss”

وَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمࣲ‏ ﴿١٤﴾

Ve innelfuccare lefiy cahıymin

“And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire”

يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿١٥﴾

Yasleneha yevmeddiyni

“Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment”

وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ ﴿١٦﴾

Ve ma hum ´anha biğaibiyne

“And they will not be able to keep away therefrom”

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿١٧﴾

Ve ma edrake ma yevmuddiyni

“And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is”

ثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿١٨﴾

Summe ma edrake ma yevmuddiyni

“Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is”

يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسࣱ لِّنَفۡسࣲ شَيۡـࣰٔ اۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلَّهِ ﴿١٩﴾

Yevme la temliku nefun linefsin şey´en vel´emru yevmeizin lillahi

“(It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with God”
