Surah Az-Zalzalah

إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا ﴿١﴾

İza zülziletil erdu zilzaleha

“When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion”

وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا ﴿٢﴾

Ve ahracetilerdu eskaleha

“And the earth throws up her burdens (from within)”

وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا ﴿٣﴾

Ve kalel insanü ma leha

“And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her”

يَوۡمَئِذࣲ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا ﴿٤﴾

Yevmeizin tühaddisü ahbaraha

“On that Day will she declare her tidings”

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا ﴿٥﴾

Bienne rabbeke evha leha

“For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration”

يَوۡمَئِذࣲ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتࣰ ا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ ﴿٦﴾

Yevmeiziy yasdürun nasü eştatel li yürav a´malehüm

“On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done)”

فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرࣰ ا يَرَهُۥ ﴿٧﴾

Fe mey ya´mel miskale zerratin hayray yerah

“Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it”

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةࣲ شَرࣰّ ا يَرَهُۥ ﴿٨﴾

Ve mey ya´mel miskale zerratin şerray yerah

“And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it”
